Ralph Black lends his forty-two years of industry experience to Graphic Printing Services, Inc. for the purpose of providing our customers excellence in packaging solutions. In his first job out of college, Ralph worked as an estimator for a commercial printer. Over a span of four decades, he has become intimately familiar with all aspects of the printing industry, holding a variety of positions from production manager to operations manager. Most recently, he has focused on the packaging business. Black holds the title of Vice President of Packaging Sales and in that capacity, he ensures that the company provides world-class packaging products and services to its customers.
Mr. Black routinely assists his customers in their efforts to gain market share in a highly competitive environment. He employs a wealth of printing and finishing knowledge he has amassed over the years to assist his customers in designing the most cost-effective, highest quality packaging for their products. The Company’s tag line, We Share Your Vision, evolved from how Ralph goes about converting his customers’ needs and ideas to tangible products that enhance the marketability of their products.
Ralph is a graduate of West Virginia University of Technology with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Printing Management and an Associate Degree in Business Administration. Ralph has further enhanced his printing credentials with executive courses at Clemson University, Central Piedmont Community College and GATF Technical School in four-color process printing and publication printing. In addition, he has successfully completed the Harper Corporation Anilox seminar and the Environmental Flexo Ink seminar.
