Danny Best is a Packaging Structural Engineer at Graphic Printing Services, Inc. With over twenty years experience in the printing, die making and die cutting industry, he has extensive knowledge of folding carton design and construction. Danny's experience in diecutting and package engineering allows him to offer several different options for new packaging structural designs, helping our customers hone in on the ideal design for their new project. Danny also has experience running production diecutting and bindery equipment, this allows him to create the most efficient layout for optimum speeds in the die cutting and folding and gluing processes as well as our customers production facilities. This contributes to Graphic Printing Services' quick turn around times and superior level of service and brings more value to the final printed package by reducing production costs.
Danny's early career was spent with local die making industry leaders such as Holiday Steel Rule Die, Southeastern Die and Atlas. As a CAD programmer and designer during this period, he assisted in the carton design for several former converting industry giants such as Federal Paper Board, International Paper, Gulf States , Westvaco, and Manville. Nabisco's cookie and cereal boxes, six pack carrier style cartons, Pampers diaper cartons and medicine cartons for the pharmaceutical industry are just a few of the designs he has been involved with in his early career.
With the recent addition of the Gerber Profile Die Tool Production System, Graphic Printing Services, Inc. will now have in-house die making capabilities. Danny's extensive knowledge in the die making industry and his hands on experience with several CNC controlled machines, from program generation to machine operation will fit nicely with the newly installed industry leading Gerber die making equipment.
Danny is an industrious individual who is committed to creating the perfect design or display for your packaging needs. He works diligently to create new designs in an effort to combine innovation with functionality. He desires to create not just an aesthetically pleasing design, but also to create a carton that will be efficiently produced.
